The Cardano Foundation is an independent, Swiss-based not-for-profit organization. The Foundation is tasked with advancing the public digital infrastructure Cardano and works to anchor it as a utility for financial and social systems, thus empowering the digital architects of the future.
The Foundation facilitates the worldwide advancement of Cardano in enterprise applications. It develops infrastructure tooling, strengthens operational resilience and drives diversity of on-infrastructure use cases as well as the development of sound and representative governance.
Another significant part of the Cardano Foundation’s mission is to engage with and support the Cardano community. The Foundation assists the development of tools the community can use to leverage Cardano to solve problems in new ways.
What you’ll be doing:
We are seeking a Quality-Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing team. As a QA Engineer at the Cardano Foundation you will build enterprise grade services together with our software developers and product teams and help us in setting up high quality software engineering pipelines. We seek to foster industry adoption of the Cardano blockchain by providing the appropriate tools different industries and institutions can build on in order to help lead the world into a decentralised, fair and sustainable future.
The ideal candidate has comprehensive knowledge of setting up and maintaining automated software test pipelines for unit-, integration- and frontend testing including the incorporation of software quality metrics in order to support our developers in producing high quality output. As a QA Engineer you have a proven track record of projects in the role of a QA engineer and own strong interpersonal skills and a solution oriented aptitude when it comes to the design of IT systems.
Basic knowledge about blockchain technology in general or Cardano in particular is beneficial but you will get the possibility to learn that along the way.
- Building enterprise grade software that helps in leveraging Cardano’s metadata features to build applications for Supply Chain, Digital Identity and other domains.
Define, implement and maintain test automation and software quality measurement pipelines for cloud-based backend applications as well as client applications for different devices.
Make test automation a lean process by providing guidance and implementation templates and by specifying conventions.
Testing of our software shall become an inherent part of our development without significantly slowing down the development speed of projects with different quality requirements in the range from proof of concepts to full fledged enterprise applications.
Researching industry standards and leveraging the latest technology to constantly improve the software we build.
