The Cardano Foundation is an independent, Swiss-based not-for-profit organization. The Foundation is tasked with advancing the public digital infrastructure Cardano and works to anchor it as a utility for financial and social systems, thus empowering the digital architects of the future.
The Foundation facilitates the worldwide advancement of Cardano in enterprise applications. It develops infrastructure tooling—including where there may not be an immediate commercial use case—plus strengthens operational resilience, and drives diversity of on-infrastructure use cases as well as the development of sound and representative governance.
Another significant part of the Cardano Foundation’s mission is to engage with and support the Cardano community. The Foundation assists the development of tools the community can use to leverage Cardano to solve problems in new ways.
What you’ll be doing:
The Senior Treasury Analyst will be monitoring the Treasury operations for the Cardano Foundation and its subsidiaries. You will have to actively supervise and control the crypto and fiat investments of the Foundation according to the investment strategy. You will also be involved in partnership projects around the Cardano ecosystem and will report directly to the CFO.
The ideal candidate will have the relevant expertise in both traditional and crypto markets and will hold a Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, a CFA or an equivalent degree.
You will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Supervising and controlling the crypto and fiat investments and monitoring the Treasury operations for the Foundation and its subsidiaries.
Monitoring the cash-flow forecasting process and utilising modelling techniques to forecast liquidity needs.
Monitoring FX positions, developing FX exposure reporting analytics and proposing solutions to further mitigate FX risk.
Follow-up cash level of affiliates, liquidity needs and handle ad hoc treasury matters.
Assessing counterparties and investment solutions.
Monitoring and continuing building the Investment strategy, the Treasury operations guidelines and the ICS documentation.
Support the Finance Director with the development of the Treasury and financial risk reporting.
Assess infrastructure around the Treasury activity and propose alternatives.
Participate in strategic partnership projects around the Cardano ecosystem.
Maintain good relationships with banks, financial institutions and consultants.
